Sweeping, panoramic views of Civic Park provide a lush green backdrop to The Tea Tree’s ballrooms, while the light-filled corporate meeting rooms evoke a professional, focused atmosphere. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the picturesque parklands, flooding the space with ample natural light for wedding ceremonies and daytime gatherings. As night falls, the rooms come to life with sparkling chandeliers and fairy lights, adding a magical touch to any event.

Function Rooms

The Tea Tree is a premier venue set on picturesque Civic Park in Adelaide’s Northeast. It features four state-of-the-art function spaces catering for weddings, conferences, corporate conventions, product launches, gala dinners, seminars, graduations, private events, and more, along with a beautiful Mediterranean-inspired Paradiso Café & Cocktail Bar, and onsite accommodation with 22 spa suites.

 

Each of the function spaces boasts distinguishing features that meet a wide variety of event requirements, including floor-to-ceiling windows for beautiful daytime natural light; a glass-ceiling atrium for pre-dinner drinks and canapes; sheer draped ceilings, chandeliers and fairy lights for elegant evening light; intimate spaces for wedding ceremonies and private events; and use of the beautiful parklands that the venue backs onto.

Weddings

The Tea Tree has everything you need for a spectacular wedding day and is a premier wedding venue in Adelaide. Picturesque ceremonies on the beautifully landscaped lawns, welcome drinks and canapés in the travertine marble foyer or floor-to-ceiling windowed terrace, and dinner and dancing under showstopping chandeliers and magical fairy lights.

 

Wedding catering packages offer a range of options, including buffet, seated 3 course dinners, or canape menus for pre-drinks or a cocktail-style wedding.

 

With 22 accommodation suites onsite, bridal parties or wedding guests can even stay at The Tea Tree before or after the event. Choose from one of the beautiful spa suites for the night of your wedding, or our spacious Loft Suite for getting ready on your special day.

 

Each of the four state-of-the-art function spaces at The Tea Tree offers standout features, including parkland views, natural light, water features, flower walls, fairy lights, sheer ceiling draping, and grand chandeliers.

Parties

Celebrate your milestone birthday, engagement, reunion, christening, baby shower or more in style at The Tea Tree! With a range of available spaces to suit your guest list and requirements, any event can be extra special with help from the events team. With sit-down, buffet, and cocktail-style catering options, and the ability to decorate the spaces however you like, you can customise your event to best match your vision and bring any special event to life.

Corporate Events

Conferences and meetings at The Tea Tree are customised to suit your business needs. With space to accommodate round tables, theatre-style seating, or lecture-style events, as well as a private boardroom for small gatherings and meetings, you can feel confident that your conference will run smoothly for both attendees and presenters.

 

The expandable room setup options mean your event can feature breakout rooms or exhibition space to accommodate sponsors or key clients. For large corporate requirements, the whole venue is available for hire and can support a timetable of speakers and presentations across a variety of rooms. Use of our largest space for your main speaking event allows the surrounding rooms to remain available for networking or product stalls, and with our own Paradiso Café and Cocktail Bar onsite, attendees can even continue the networking after your event over dinner or a beverage.

Private Events

Whether you are celebrating with friends and family or searching for the best function space to bring your workplace social events to life, there are endless possibilities at The Tea Tree. Make use of the open atrium to welcome your guests with drinks and canapes, before moving into one of the customisable event spaces. With a wide range of catering options, you can host your event in a buffet-style, with a 3-course sit-down dinner, or keep your guests mixing and mingling with roaming canapés for the duration of the night. Open the dance floor and get the party started with a band or DJ in the Marquee or Starlight Rooms.
